Setup as a lone-wolf doing hyper-specialist human-factors and usability for medical device startups. Relocated from Cambridge to Warwickshire. A brief pivot into an Oxford patent firm, then rebirth into digital services. Massive love to the Energy Systems Catapult where I earned my UX Lead wings. Have been helping fantastic digital pioneers ever since. Oh, invented a fabulous cardiology surgical widget which is being made in China and sold to the NHS. Continue to side-hustle with playful print ideas. Turned 40 a few years back; never been professionally happier. Wish my thirty-something self had read ‘Company of One’ by Paul Jarvis for an earth-kind view of growing a creative business.
